Top Ten Tuesday: Top Ten Books On My Spring 2014 TBR List

top ten tuesday

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted at The Broke and the Bookish

This week’s topic is top ten books on my Spring TBR list (in no particular order):

1. Cress by Marissa Meyer

Cress (The Lunar Chronicles, #3)

The third book in the Lunar Chronicles series, I have read Cinder and Scarlet and enjoyed them. They are just so fast paced though I’ve have a problem with the characters. I can’t wait how Cress would meet the other girls and continue their quest.

2. Infinite by Jodi Meadows

Infinite (Newsoul, #3)

The third and final book of the Newsoul series. I can’t wait to see how it concludes and what happens to Janan. I also hope that Ana and Sam take a step further into their relationship.

3. Into the Still Blue by Veronica Rossi

Into the Still Blue (Under the Never Sky, #3)

I just read the first and second and they are both aren’t enough to satisfy my need for this series. Its like these two books makes me want the third and final book more and more. This series has become my favorite series of this year.

4. Evertrue by Brodi Ashton

Evertrue (Everneath, #3)

I read the first and though I don’t know much about the Persephone mythology, I’m loving it. The first book has left me a bunch of questions and I really need to read the second and the third book.

5. Daughter of Smoke and Bone Series by Laini Taylor

Daughter of Smoke & Bone (Daughter of Smoke & Bone, #1)

The third is coming out soon and I really want to get to this series so here’s my chance to marathon it through.

6. Sweet Reckoning by Wendy Higgins

Sweet Reckoning (The Sweet Trilogy, #3)

I love the first book — Sweet Evil and I have yet to get on the second. Now the third and final book is coming out I will again take this opportunity to read them.

7. Starling by Fiona Paul

Starling (Secrets of the Eternal Rose, #3)

I read the first book earlier this year in Jan and I love it. The mystery and suspense is like never ending. I want to see where the series progress and the third one is already coming out. Ahhh how will I have time for it?

8. The One by Kiera Cass

The One (The Selection, #3)

I flew through the first and second and I can’t believe the final book is coming out. Its really a nice fluffy read with not much action but I’m a sucker for anything sweet and girly.

9. Shatter Me series

Ignite Me (Shatter Me, #3)

I have heard nothing but good things about this book and now all three books are out, it means I can marathon through. But first I need to get them like immediately.

10. The Winner’s Curse by Marie Rutkoski
The Winner's Curse (Winner's Trilogy, #1) One of the more hyped books currently and the summary seems pretty interesting.

So what’s your pick for this week’s Top Ten Tuesday? Share with me in the comments below? Look out for my next blog post tomorrow — Waiting on Wednesday.

  1. You should definitely read Cress by Marissa Meyer as soon as you get your hands on it! 😀 We have the Winner’s Curse in common. I can’t wait to read it, so I can know what all the buzz is about. I like how you have Ignite me on your list. I want to read it, but I haven’t even read Shatter me yet. Shatter me is on my list. I need to catch up on some serious reading time.

  2. Oh my gosh! You’re going to be reading Ignite Me! 🙂 If I can read a book again for the very first time, this book will definitely be in the running for my ultimate choice. It was just beyond great for me. I hope you’ll enjoy it as much as I did. The Winner’s Curse is also on my list and everyone has been talking about it. 🙂 Actually, most of your picks are on my TBR list as well. Thanks for sharing.

Here are my Top Ten Tuesday picks 🙂

  3. Oh gosh The One. I’m half way through The Elite and for some reason I just stopped reading it (bit of a reading slump at the time I think). I loved The Selection so, so much I’m hoping The One is everything I’ve been hoping for!

I thought I was the only blogger who hadn’t read Daughter of Smoke and Bone! I must change that this year, I’ve heard only great things about it. Plus it has a 4.08 rating on Goodreads which is one of the highest I’ve ever seen.

  5. Wow, i love all of your picks! I also really need to read Cress and Daughter of Smoke and Bone and cannot wait for The One and The Winner’s Curse. I’ve seen a lot of the other books that you’ve mentioned around and really want to try some of them, great list! Thanks for stopping by my post!

  6. CRESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And ahhhh, INFINITE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It’s over, over, over…but Jodi’s new duology sounds AMAZING and helps me get through the night… *mum* I’m excited to finally read the NEVER SKY trilogy this year now that all three are out! And to finally re-read book one and then first-read two and three of Brodi’s trilogy! I’m also looking forward to re-trying Laini Taylor’s series since I was in a bad reading mood when I read the first one and didn’t love it… I’m also planning to re-read THE SELECTION and first read the rest of the series this year! THE WINNER’S CURSE….ahhh, so good. Loved it! Enjoy everything!

  7. You ate reading some really good series enders!! I loved Cress (thorn was the best), into the still blue (perry was very swoonalishious!!), sweet reckoning ( very satisfyingly) and Ignite Me (the best!). Ooh I’m going to start daughter of smoke and bones too. Here’s to hoping we both love it.

  8. I loved Cress – it was probably my favourite from the whole series so far! And Daughter of Smoke and Bone is such a good book, I hope you enjoy it. 🙂
